PhotoHunt 92 : Skinny

PhotoHunters

Skinny
may mean thin or lean. Could it also mean full of skin? Anyway, my entry for this theme is a “lechon” or roasted pig. When I went to Tacloban City, Philippines last year, I brought home a whole lechon. What I like most in lechon is its crispy skin. The pigs they roast in Tacloban are not the fatty but the leaner ones. Tacloban lechons are already delectable even without the lechon sauce.

I have to agree with you that Lechon Cebu is the best, yes, even without the sauce. Ooops, cholesterol alert. :)

When I went to Manila, almost every Filipino friend treated me to lechon! It's considered the highest honour for a guest? The lechon skin is so crispy. The waiter sliced it with a plate!

Tom, I've never seen anything like that! Yes, "skinny" could mean full of skin as opposed to fat. It should mean that, Ha!
