Joke - Hotel Bill

A husband and wife are traveling by car from Key West to Boston. After almost twenty-four hours on the road, they're too tired to continue, and they decide to stop for a rest. They stop at a nice hotel and take a room, but they only plan to sleep for four hours and then get back on the road. When they check out four hours later, the desk clerk hands them a bill for $350. The man explodes and demands to know why the charge is so high. He tells the clerk although it's a nice hotel, the rooms certainly aren't worth $350. When the clerk tells him $350 is the standard rate, the man insists on speaking to the manager.

The manager appears, listens to the man, and then explains that the hotel has an Olympic sized pool and a huge conference center that were available for the husband and wife to use. "But we didn't use them." the man complains. "Well, they are here, and you could have." explains the manager.

He goes on to explain they could have taken in one of the shows for which the hotel is famous. "The best entertainers from New York, Hollywood and Las Vegas perform here." the manager says. "But we didn't go to any of those shows." complains the man again.

"Well, we have them, and you could have." the manager replies. No matter what facility the manager mentions, the man replies, "But we didn't use it!"

The manager is unmoved, and eventually the man gives up and agrees to pay. He writes a check and gives it to the manager. The manager is surprised when he looks at the check. "But sir," he says, "this check is only made out for $100."

"That's right," says the man. "I charged you $250 for sleeping with my wife."
"But I didn't!" exclaims the manger.

"Well," the man replies, "she was here, and you could have."

Flowers in Subic Bay

Aside from the Subic sceneries, I also took pictures of flowers. Subic is one of the Philippine's last forest. I'm glad that SBMA has maintained its verdancy. These flowers are just ordinary but they are beautiful nonetheless:

Cheap hotels from CheaperThanHotels

My mother and sister are planning to tour the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. To help them plan their tour, I have searched the internet for the places worth visiting, their attractions and the things to be done there.

First on the list is Dublin, the capital of Ireland and its largest city.

  • Guinness Storehouse. It is Ireland’s number one visitor attraction. It tells visitors the dramatic story of the 250 year history of Guinness.
  • Kilmainham Gaol. Built in 1792 and closed in 1924, it is Ireland’s most famous disused prison.
  • Dublin Castle. It was built between 1208 and 1220, and was the center of English power in Ireland for more than seven centuries until it was taken of by the Irish Free State in 1922. This complex represents some of the oldest surviving architecture in the city

Second on the list is Cardiff, the capital city and the largest city of Wales.

  • Cardiff Castle. It is one of Wale’s leading tourist attractions
  • Millenium Stadium. It is the best rugby stadium in the world.
  • Llandaff Cathedral. The seat of the Bishop of Llandaff

My sister suggested Newcastle, a city in Tyne and Wear, England

  • St. James Park. The home of the Newcastle United Football Club.
  • The Quayside. It is a cultural and arts center, with galleries and art sculptures.
  • Bridges. The city is known for its bridges: the Tyne Bridge, the High Bridge, Gateshead Millenium Bridge and the Swing Bridge.

My mother said she wants to go to Leeds, a city in West Yorkshire, England.

  • Royal Armouries Museum. The museum contains an exhibit of medieval armor and weapons displaying the way of life among nobles and notables of the period.
  • Temple Newsam. It features a Home Farm with many rare farm animals.
  • Thackray Medical Museum. It exhibits medical and surgical techniques from the 19th Century up to today.

To make their tour a perfect one, I told them to check CheaperThanHotels, where they could get cheap hotels in Dublin, Cardiff, Newcastle, and Leeds. CheaperThanHotels offers discounts with more than 35,000 deals on 365 days either at the last minute or all year.

To my mother and sister, I am wishing you a “Safe and Happy Trip!”

We went to Subic Bay Freeport Zone to spend the weekend. My sister in law and her daughter were with us and we joined them in their shop hopping - Value City, Royal Subic, Union Square, Freeport Duty Free Shop and 88 Mart. We had no plans of shopping except for some stuff to consume during our stay. However, we were tempted to buy some bargain stuff:

Union Square offers discounts of up to 50%:

From 88 Mart, buy one pair of Champion shoes at P1,950 and buy another pair with the same or lower price at P50 only

At Value City, buy one bottle or can of Tiger beer @ US$0.62 and get one bottle of ABC stout beer free.

Pay day loans

We receive our salaries either once or twice a month. First, we pay for our fixed expenses, such as the electric, water, telephone, internet, cable bills, etc. to avoid interruptions. Whatever is left, we budget it to last until the next payday. Sometimes, what is left is not enough or it could be used for some emergency or other important purposes. Now, that becomes a real financial problem. How could we survive until the next payday? The answer maybe is to tighten our belts to make both ends meet. This is, however, easier said than done. The most logical option is to borrow money. But, where or to whom?

Payday Loan Quotes offers Payday Loans or cash advances to employees who are in need of cash. It helps you compare short term loan options to get the lowest loan interest rates. Processing and approval of your loan application, typically, takes within minutes. It is a quick and easy way to bridge your cash needs between pay days. There is no credit check or collaterals required. You can borrow from $100 up to $1,500. The fund shall be electronically deposited to your account. Repayment of your loan shall be made through your checking account on a mutually agreed upon dates.

Whenever you are in need of cash in between pay days, you can count on Payday Loan Quotes. Visit Payday Loan Quotes at http://www.paydayloanquotes.com for more information. You may also wish to check their Loan Calculator.

Nursing homes

Do you need someone to take care of you or any of your loved ones?

It is still best that closest family members should take care of their loved ones who need cares. However, there are circumstances, such as business or works, that prevent them from doing so on full time. Some can not take care of their loved ones even on part time basis. In cases like these, it is better to entrust them to nursing homes, who could fully take care of them and attend to all their needs.

If you are in UK, Bettercaring.com is the right place to go. It is where you could get answers to your questions about care giving. It has care options so you can arrange for the right kind of care, read daily care new and views, and receive tips from care experts. It has also a community forum, where you could interact with others and share your experiences with the care system.

At Bettercaring.com, you can search and find all registered UK care homes. Just enter your postcode and the vicinity of the search. The site is user friendly, easy to navigate with color coded channels.

Joke - Airman Jones selling insurance

Airman Jones was assigned to the induction center, where he advised new recruits about their government benefits, especially their GI insurance.

It wasn't long before Captain Smith noticed that Airman Jones was having a staggeringly high success-rate, selling insurance to nearly 100% of the recruits he advised. Rather than asking him about this, the Captain stood at the back of the room and listened to Jones' sales pitch.

Jones explained the basics of GI Insurance to the new recruits, and then said, "If you are killed in a battle and have a GI Insurance, the government has to pay $200,000 to your beneficiaries. But, if you don't have a GI insurance and get killed in the battle, the government only has to pay a maximum of $6,000."

"Now," he concluded, "which group do YOU think they are going to send into battle first?"

Faxless payday loans

Ordinary employees receive their salaries once or twice a month. There are times, however, that they could use the money for emergency or for one reason or another. To stay alive until the next pay, they would borrow from a friend or from a lending company or, in some worst cases, from a loan shark.

If you happen to be in the same boat, PaydayLoansQuote.com is here to help. You can apply for a short-term payday loan or cash advance ranging from $100 to $1,500. You can apply online by simply filling out the online application form and submit it from the website. There is no need to fax your application; or, we can call it Faxless Payday Loans. All information provided shall be treated confidential. The basic requirements are: you must be at least 18 years old, have a job or another regular source of income, and some personal data. Bad credit would not hinder you from applying for a loan. Processing of your application is fast. If approved, the funds shall be directly deposited to your bank account.

For more information, please visit PaydayLoanQuotes.com. You may wish to read the FAQ and check the loan calculator before applying for a loan.

Christmas is in the air

Christmas is really in the air. When September (the first "ber" month) set in, Christmas songs could be heard over the radios. When you go to shopping malls, lots of Christmas items, trees, lanterns, etc. are already on display for sale. Most shoppers have already started shopping Christmas decorations and gifts for their loved ones, relatives and godchildren. In some cities, their main roads have already been decorated with Christmas decors and lights. While on my way home tonight, I noticed some houses already sparkling with Christmas lights.

We normally start decorating our house starting on the first day of December and remove them after the Three Kings celebration.

Well, the countdown says it is 46 days to Christmas Day. I think I have to greet you now: “Advance Merry Christmas”!

Marriage counseling

“I take you to be my spouse, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.”

Wedding vow is a part of the wedding ceremony where the couples are promising each other, in front of the priest or minister and everybody present, that they would be together until death of one of them or both. I have seen so many couples that have kept this vow come hell or high water. But there are lots of couples too that have broken this. Some have tried their best to patch up things just to save and keep the marriage. But most of them failed.

If couples think or feel that troubles in their marriage are already brewing, they must do everything to save and keep it up, especially those who have children already. The best way to do this is to consult a marriage counselor. Marriage Counseling has been very effective in solving troubles and differences in marriage to save and keep the marriage intact.

Should you find your relationship rocking, check the Family and Marriage Counseling Directory at http://family-marriage-counseling.com/ for counselors and therapists in your area. The site also offers Phone Counseling, Marriage and Relationship Forum – for advice and support, Marriage Counseling Alternative – as self help program, and Books about marriage, family and relationship.

Joke - Say cheese

From Asian Jokes

Three dead bodies turn up at the mortuary, all with very big smiles on their faces. The coroner calls the police to show them what has happened. A Detective Inspector is sent and is taken to the first body.

'Clinton, 60, died of heart failure whilst making love to his mistress. Hence the enormous smile, Inspector,' says the Coroner.

The DI is taken to the second dead man. 'Suharto, 70, made a pile from government funds, and spent it all on whiskey. Died of alcohol poisoning, hence the smile.'

'Nothing unusual here', thinks the DI, and asks to be shown the last body.

'Ah,' says the coroner. 'This is the most unusual one. Dr. Mahathir, 75, struck by lightning.'

'Why is he smiling then?' inquires the Inspector.

To which the coroner replies, 'He thought he was having his picture taken.'

Australian vacations

I was in Sydney, Australia several years ago and visited my mother, my sister and her family. We stayed there for two weeks only. Hence, we were not able to tour most of the beautiful tourist spots

We are planning to visit them again in a year or two and to stay longer – may be a month or two. From Sydney, we are planning to go to Adelaide (the city of churches) in South Australia or Brisbane in Queensland, or both. I have virtually toured these places; and I have listed some of the places to see and things to do:

In Adelaide

  1. Picnic at Bel-Air National Park;
  2. Market at Victor Harbor Markets;
  3. Swim, fish and even go surfing at Fleurieu Peninsula;
  4. Visit some wineries and have a taste of their wines;
  5. Ride the Glenelg tram from Moseley Square to the Adelaide CBD;
  6. Watch Car racing;
  7. Cruise the Legendary Murray River
  8. Wander around Adelaide Zoo and Cleland Wildlife Park.

Group of koalas

In Brisbane:

  1. Visit and watch at any or all of these theme parks: Movie World, Dreamworld and Sea World;
  2. Visit some wineries for wine tasting;
  3. Island hop to Stradbroke Islands;
  4. Enjoy a ferry ride over Moreton Bay;
  5. Swim at the pristine beaches on the Sunshine Coast.

In Adelaide and Brisbane, we shall search for Adelaide Hotels and Brisbane Accommodation at CheaperThanHotels. A friend who had been to Adelaide told me that the best Hotels in Adelaide can be found in CheaperThanHotels.

At 4:58 p. m.

At 5:01 p. m.

At 5:27 p. m.

She was experimenting with the different settings of her mother's Kodak M753 camera, when she shot these pictures.

Find cheaper hotels in France

“I Love Paris” is one of my favorite songs. It is my favorite because the song is beautiful and I really love to go Paris. When in Paris, it is a must to tour the Eiffel Tower. After the tour, you can dine at the Altitude 95 restaurant on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower. In the restaurant, you can see the Seine and the Trocadero to one side and the interior of the Tower to the other. After dinner, take a cruise along the river Seine and experience passing under the famous bridges of Paris. What a perfect way to end your evening! Another place to visit in Paris is the Louvre Museum and take a look at the three world famous works: the Venus de Milo, the Victory of Samothrace and the Mona Lisa, painted by Leonardo da Vinci at the beginning of the 16th century.

Best online casinos from Pro360.com

I had been playing in casinos before. I really love to go back and play; but, the casinos are far away from our home. It is a good thing there are online casinos; but, there are thousands of them. And, I do not know which online casino to go to. The better thing is there is Pro360.com that conducts online casino reviews since 1997.

Pro360 has reviewed and listed hundreds of best online casinos and ranked them from top to bottom based on the Editor’s Rating. There are also reviews and lists according to game types, such as my favorites - blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, with the same ranking system. The lists also include what casinos US players are not allowed, the certificate, maximum bonus, players rating and full review.

Since the best online casinos have already been filtered by Pro360, it would be easier for players to choose what casino to gamble online or what casino they would play their preferred games. Thus, it would save players their time and the nightmare to look for themselves the best casinos from thousands of them.

If you want to gamble online, visit first Pro360.com.

Bid low at Bid4Prizes.com

I have been hearing about Bid4Prizes. I thought it was just another auction where the highest bidder wins. But, I was wrong. It is the one with the lowest unique bid that wins. I still could not believe it; so I checked the site.

Bid4Prizes is not just an auction but an auction game. This is how it plays. The bidder chooses a desired prize and submits his bid. The prizes could be a vacation package, notebook, Apple I-Phone’s, HDTV’s, Designer Bags, SCION XB’s or cash prize. The one who submitted the lowest unique bid wins. Unique bid means that the bid is not duplicated by other bidders.

Everyday a grand prize is up for grab. If you win the grand prize, you will not pay anything - it is like winning in a sweepstake. But if you are not that lucky, you could be entitled to free gifts. Everyday there is a new winner.

If you are interested to join and play the games, sign up at Bid4Prizes.com.
