PayPerPost is offering less

I logged in to my PayPerPost (PPP) account and checked the available opportunities. Wow, there were five with grey background and one with white. But, I was surprised to see the offers. The offers for five opps were minuscule - fifty cents, a dollar, and a dollar and fifty. Despite the low offers, four opps have already been reserved. There's only one that's still available - "Blog pictures".

Curious for the low offers, I checked the available opp out. The task is very easy. All you need to do is register with the sponsor's site (a source of free pictures), link it and hotlink a photo. You're not even required to write a post. What could I buy with fifty cents? One bottle of beer! Since the task's very easy, I took it.

But, I'm already worried and alarmed with the trends.

First, the opportunities are scarce. In the last three months of 2007 (I started with PPP on September 2007), I averaged 15 opps a month. In 2008, I just averaged two opps a month. And, this new year, there are offers that are too low.

PayingPost pays you to blog

I have been blogging for more than a year. And, I have enjoyed it since day one. What makes blogging more exciting is when I started earning out of it. There are a number of advertising outfits online that offer paid blogging. At first, I was very aggressive and registered in all blog advertising networks I came across. I found out later that only few of them are good. Most of them were just wasting my time visiting them every now and then but could not provide with tasks or opportunities. Now, I have to be choosy on which blog advertising network I would register to.

While bloghopping, I found out about a new blog advertising network. It is PayingPost.com. I did not immediately register. I checked and consulted first my blogging friends about it. They gave me their nods; and, I registered and submitted my blog.

How PayingPost works?, How do I get opportunities?, and When do I get paid? are just some very important questions I asked.

Getting paid through blogging is easy. PayingPost qualified members need to log in to check for open opportunities. In the opportunity lists, the opportunities are color coded:
  • White – the opportunity is available;
  • Yellow – the opportunity is available – highlighted opportunity is paid by advertiser;
  • Green – the featured opportunity is available;
  • Grey – the opportunity is available, but all posts fully reserved; and,
  • Red – the opportunity is not available

If the opportunity is available, click it to reserve it. You can reserve up to three opportunities per day per blog. Then, you have six hour to make and submit your posts; otherwise, the reservation will be canceled.

You can also get opportunities via the PayingPost Direct, where advertisers directly negotiate with you the cost and scope.

If the submitted post is approved, you will receive your payment directly into your PayPal account on the first day of each month. And, there is a $25 bonus if your post is the best for each pay period.

Aside from earning through writing posts, you can also earn by joining its affiliate or referral program.

If you are a blogger, do not let this great opportunity pass to make money from blogging. Register now.

I signed up for SocialSpark

Hey bloggers! Have you heard the latest good news about making money online? I am talking about SocialSpark. It is the newest site that gives opportunities to bloggers to earn money online. Well, it is now open for business. All you have to do is visit SocialSpark and register. I do not want to be left behind; so, I already registered and it has been approved.

What is SocialSpark? I asked this question too as soon as I heard about it. SocialSpark is similar to other online money making sites in terms of making money aspect. Just like the others, you will be provided with opportunities to write about and post in your blog. It is called the “sponsored post”. Aside from sponsored post, it also offers “blog sponsorhip” - where you will be paid per day for having a sponsorship banner on your blog; and “spark” – a free opportunity that serve as ideas for blog posts.

But, SocialSpark is different from other money making sites. It has the social community aspect that others do not have. In this aspect, you can view other blogs, contact and interact with the bloggers, make friends in the process, and attract traffic to your blog. Also, you can leave a comment on every opportunity. Do you want to rate a blog, blogger and opportunity, you can either “prop” or “drop” them. Props or drops are ways to give your votes of confidence or negative votes to blogs, bloggers, and opportunities. SocialSpark is a blogging network and social network in one site.

So, what are you waiting for? Sign up now, make money and friends as well. Just be informed of the SocialSpark’s Code of Ethics:
  • 100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
  • 100% Transparency
  • 100% Real Opinions
  • 100% Search Engine Friendly.

Another attempt to withdraw from Paypal

This is my third attempt. First, I reviewed again the procedures about withdrawing from Paypay personal account, particularly to a credit card:

  1. Credit cards with VISA logo only are acceptable. Other credit cards, such as AMEX, Mastercard can be used in other transactions.
  2. The minimum withdrawal is US$10; and the maximum withdrawal per day is US$500;
  3. The processing period is 5 to 7 days, but it still depends on the card issuer’s policy;
  4. The withdrawal fee is $5;
  5. The return fee is $10, if the withdrawn fund is returned to Paypal due to incomplete and incorrect information in the withdrawal request.

Since I have no VISA credit card yet, I tried to enroll my wife’s Metrobank VISA. YES! It was accepted; and it was not required to be enrolled in the Expanded Use Program (if for withdrawal purpose only). So, I attempted to withdraw to her VISA card. I entered the amount to be withdrawn and clicked the "Continue" button. On the review page, however, my name and not my wife’s name appeared as the “Name on Card”. During the enrollment, I edited my name to that of my wife in the form as the card holder. But, apparently, Paypal assumes that the Paypal account holder is the same as the holder of enrolled credit card.

Thus, I hesitated to confirm the transaction lest I might be charged $10 return fee due to incorrect information. I just canceled it.

Meantime, while my fund is accumulating, I’d would apply for a credit card with VISA logo or request my wife’s card issuer to issue an extension card for me.

Get paid to blog with Smorty.com

Out of curiosity, I tried blogging five months ago. Since then I have enjoyed doing it, learned a lot from other bloggers, made virtual friends, and made some money online. Then, I heard about Smorty.com as another opportunity to make money through blog advertising. Some virtual friends strongly recommended it.

I visited and explored the site and learned more about it. Smorty is a service connecting advertisers to bloggers. Setting up and maintaining an account with Smorty is easy and absolutely free of charge. Blog/s submitted shall be reviewed and approved/declined within 72 hours. If approved, campaigns are emailed to the bloggers for acceptance. Bloggers will write opinion posts with links back to advertiser’s site. If advertisers approved the posts, payments, ranging from $6 to $60, shall be made on weekly basis through PayPal.

I found Smorty's services great and attractive. With Smorty, I could have another way to get paid for blogging. Thinking that my blog is qualified, I immediately registered and submitted my blog. That was yesterday. This morning, I received Smorty’s approval and the campaign. That was really quick. I am now accomplishing my first tasks.

What I like most about Smorty are:

  1. It is quick to approve applications - within 72 hours. Mine, however, was approved in less than 12 hours.
  2. The minimum earning is $6
  3. Payments are made on weekly basis.
Join Smorty now; and, you too could get paid to blog.

Blogsvertise approves this blog

Last October 17, 2007, I registered my blog “Think Of Me!” with Blogsvertise.com. As part of the approval/review process for new account, I wrote an entry in that blog about http://www.blogsvertise.com/.

On October 20, 2007 (or three days after), I received the email from Blogsvertise.com that my account has been activated and another email for my first task. The following day, I performed and submitted my task about AdvantageAutoQuotes.com for approval. At the same time, I registered this blog.

Yesterday, I received the congratulatory email of Blogsvertise.com that this blog has been approved.
