The Feast of the Black Nazarene

Today, January 9, is the annual celebration of the feast of the Black Nazarene, the patron saint of Quiapo – a town in Manila, Philippines. Thousands of faithful and devotees will flock and gather in this town to witness and join the procession. Most of them will try to touch the statue with their hands or with their towels or handkerchiefs. They believe it would bring miracles and blessing into their lives. Many have already testified about the miracles and blessings they have received, such as healing, better health, and better life.

Some roads in the area will be closed to traffic. Thus, heavy traffic is expected in the nearby areas. Please check Trapik.com for the traffic advisory.
