My favorite American Seafood Recipe

I love eating but moderately. And, my wife enjoys cooking; and, she collects recipes of different dishes from around the world just to impress me. I am the number one fan of my favorite cook – my wife. And, she knows my favorite food, which is seafood - fishes, shrimps, squids, crabs, shells, and almost anything edible you catch under the sea, river, and pond.

I learned and visited a great site about the Great American Seafood Cook-Off. It is currently holding a cook off - Recipe Contest. The top five recipes have been voted upon and named by the judges. And, it’s up for the people to choose and vote for their favorite recipe from the top five.

I have two favorites and in a quandary which one to vote. They are:
  • Colorado Striped Bass Panzanella by Colorado’s Chef Paul Anders
  • Pan Roasted Glazed Rockfish with Peas and Carrots by Maryland’s Chef Tafari Campbell
After a profound consideration, I picked the Colorado Striped Bass Panzanella. I love eating seafood, particularly fishes. I like their taste; and they are healthier to eat. I believe they have no or little cholesterol.

I will download the recipe and would ask my wife to cook it. She is good in altering recipes. But, if I am to decide, I would rather not alter the recipe. The recipe is created by one of the best chefs; and, it must be good. And, I would request her to use the domestic seafood as they are still fresh and have great taste.

If you have not visited this great site yet: www.GreatAmericanSeafoodCookOff.com, I am encouraging you to do so; and, you will not regret it. Instead, you would learn new recipes created by great chefs. And, if you vote for your favorite recipe, you would get the chance to win a trip to New Orleans prize package.

I have my own styles

I am not easily influenced by any celebrity, foreign or local, about the styles I have to wear or follow. It is because I have my own styles, which I follow. There are celebrities though whose styles are similar to mine. That is fine with me. As for the pants, shirts, and other apparels, I like the style and fit of Dockers. So, most of the times, I wear Dockers. Sometimes, my wife calls me Mr. Docky, whenever I am wearing one.

If you, too, like the Dockers styles, there is an ongoing contest about TV commercial Dockers contest, dubbed as “Make Your Own Dockers Commercial” Contest. The 30-second (not longer please) video advertisement should feature a Dockers take on your chosen fashion trend and style. Joining is easy and free. To be eligible to join, you must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of any of the 50 states of the Unites States of America and District of Colombia. The deadline for the submission of entries is on May 29, 2008.

And, what is the prize? There shall be one Grand Prize, which will have the chance to be aired once on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on June 13, 2008.

If you have your own styles, join this wonderful and exciting Dockers contest. Good luck to all entrants.

If my Dockers pants could talk!

240x180
I have been wearing Dockers pants since the first time my wife bought me a pair years ago. I love wearing Dockers pants; and, if possible, I do not want to take them off. And, if these pants could talk, they would also say, “Please do not doff me.” They fit me well, and, I like their styles. Also, I am being complimented by my friends when I am wearing Dockers pants; and, I love it. Thus, I told my wife not to buy me other brands but Dockers.

I have heard good stories from my friends about their Dockers pants. And, I know that most Dockers pants owners have good and nice stories to tell too about their Dockers pants. If you have your own story about your Dockers pants, Dockers is currently conducting Dockers TV Commercial Contest. Joining the Dockers contest is free. No purchase of Dockers products is required. If you think your story is worthwhile, I encourage you to submit your story as video to the Dockers contest and get a chance to win the Grand Prize. Just make it sure that you are a legal resident of the United States or District of Columbia and you are eighteen years of age or older. If you are not qualified, you can still participate by watching the entries and rate them.

Choose and rate your favorite contest video

240x180
Check out the ongoing Dockers TV Commercial Contest. If you have got your own style, why not join the Dockers contest and create a 30-second video advertisement for Dockers. There are already videos that have been submitted; and I was able to watch some of them. I think most of them are good for Dockers advertisement. Some videos are funny; but they are good though. So far, I like the “Do it on Dockers” video by Pennkraus. I still have to see more entries and decide who my favorite is really.

If you want to join, you can submit your entries until May 29. 2008. However, only legal residents of the United States or the District of Colombia who are 18 years old or older are eligible to join. Too bad, I am not a resident of the United States. Anyway, I could participate by rating the entries, which I already did for the videos that I have watched.

If you are qualified, creative, and video savvy, I encourage you to join this exciting Dockers contest. Okay, get your video camera and start shooting. Who knows, your entry will end up as the winner and get the chance to be aired once during the broadcast of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on June 13, 2008.

The Dockers contest is sponsored by Dockers San Francisco.

My entries update on Marhgil Macuha's contest

This morning, I checked my standings at Google search engine of my blog posts for the $150 Anniversary Mini-SEO contest of Marhgil Macuha. Here are the results:

No. 8 - Marhgil Macuha
No. 41 - I am winning the Marhgil Macuha's $150 Anniversary Contest
No. 189 - A Crazy SEO Contest by Marghil Macuha

The first two are in my blogger blog (Think of Me & Laugh); while the last one is in my i.ph blog (Think Of Me!). I have two other blog posts but couldn't find them in the first 20 pages.

At Yahoo search engine, I could not locate my entries yet.

I am winning the Marhgil Macuha's $150 Anniverary Contest

I officially joined the $150 anniversary contest of SEO Expert Marhgil Macuha despite unknowledgeable about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I first posted my entry, unofficially yet, in my “Think Of Me!” blog at i.ph. When I Google searched for it, it wasn’t in the first 10 pages; and, I didn’t explore the subsequent pages anymore. I exported it to my "Think of Me & Laugh" at blogger.com; and, I was surprised it appeared on the third page. The day after, it moved down to page four. When it returned to page three after several days, I joined the contest officially.

At 10:00 p. m. today, it is on the first page of Google Search at number six.

Wow, I feel elated. Being seen on the first page is already a feat for me; and I feel being the winner already. I still need to wipe out the first five over me and that includes Marhgil Macuha’s slots. I didn’t bother to check the Yahoo Search yet. I don’t know though if the reading that I’m getting is correct and accurate. I will check SEO expert Marhgil Macuha’s perspective.

Wish me lots of luck.

Marhgil Macuha

Marhgil Macuha? Who is he? For me, the name rings a bell. I have been reading his name in some of the blogs that I am visiting. He is a blogger, but not an ordinary one I suppose, and an SEO expert. And what is an SEO? It means Search Engine Optimization. Sorry, I could not discuss it profoundly. You better discuss it with the SEO Expert himself.

From Allen of Silkenhut’s World, I learned that Marhgil Macuha has launched a contest dubbed as The $150 Anniversary Mini-SEO Contest. How to join? If you have a blog, make a blog post about anything about the keyword, which is his name: "Marhgil Macuha". It must be linked to his site http://www.macuha.com. By January 4, 2008 at 8:00 p.m., if your blog post ranks the highest on Google and Yahoo search engines, you will win S100 on Google and $50 on Yahoo.

Please click here for the mechanics of the contest.

Well, I am just trying my luck. I’m just posting this to see if I have some skills in SEO and mountains of luck to win. Anyway, I am not expecting to win; but, if I do, I would treat the world.

I wish I could meet this guy, Marhgil Macuha, and give him lessons on SEO - S_x Enhancement and Optimization.

St. Paul's choir

December 4 – From my executive check-up at St. Luke’s Medical Center, I proceeded to SM Mega Mall to attend the Awarding Ceremony of the 27th Chamber of Mines of the Philippines Annual Tenpin Bowling Tournament. Since it was still early I went to the grocery and bought some items, then walked around and window shopped. At the ground floor, there was an ongoing choir Christmas singing contest. I was at the fourth floor when a girls’ choir was performing. From there, I watched and listened to their performance. I also took their pictures from each floor down to the ground:

From the 4th floor

From the 3rd floor (a conductor took over)

From the 2nd floor

From the ground floor (the conductress returned)

Side view (and watched her conducted)

I learned from the security guard, the this choir is from St. Paul's Pasig City. I thought they performed well.
